10/20/2020 - No, this is not our creek or even named after our family - but oh the birds are nothing short of spectacular!!!
The park has several ponds and a creek sort of running through it depending on the season. It's almost an industrial park with several buildings and the Hillsboro Main Library located in the most beautiful setting. When you get out of the car in the parking lot you are overwhelmed by birds chirping and singing and squawking - and it just gets better and better. We are definitely 'bird people' and just can't get enough-this is a great place for us to live!
We sat for over an hour just watching flocks of geese cruise the ponds, deciding if they would like to stop and spend the night! I took many videos which I posted on FB but will have to (get to) go back to get some more pix for this site!
Geese really damage lawns and ponds and pretty much everything so the locals are not nearly as enamored by them as we are. As we were driving out of the complex there were literally thousands of geese standing on the lawns- thousands!!!!
This park is located across from the Hillsboro airport and about 5 miles from our home.
