We never know what a drive over the hill to Sauvie Island will yield but it is always lovely!
Today we saw Mt. St. Helens off in the distance as we arrived at the Cracker Barrel Market (no connection to the chain - lol) to purchase our annual parking pass.
We saw flocks and flocks of Sandhill Cranes standing in the fields far away and that was pretty much it!
We did drive around the other end of the island and saw folks living in houseboats along the shore. It was kind of like Sausalito - but not really! lol
It was cold but sunny and it was really good to get out and walk!! WE LOVE TO WALK!!!
