You cannot claim to be a resident of Arkansas if you have not attended a Razorback Football game - period!!!
We choose a home game before the weather got too cold but after it was too hot! LOL Goldilocks?
OK - the first time you do anything - there is a learning curve and today was one of those days. We spent over an hour after we got to the off ramp in Fayetteville for the University Stadium - getting to the parking structure - only to find out we needed a parking pass! Nice!
We were directed down the hill to a neighborhood where they had street parking available with an app only and our service (Verizon) would not load the app! A very nice young couple paid for our parking (only $4.00 for 4 hours - wow!) and we gave them the cash! Then.....we needed to walk about two miles to the stadium.
We up hills and down stairs and across fields and then found out I could not take my back pack into the stadium unless it was clear plastic! GRRRR! We were a bit worried about our tickets on Joe's phone working since the parking app had not worked but it was a cinch!
Unfortunately, we did not have time to eat all the amazing food available at sporting events because by the time we got into our seats the game had started and the food and drink lines were about an hour each!
What we did have - was a FABULOUS TIME! The game, crowd spirit and excitement was non- stop. Everyone was so friendly and before we knew it we were on our feet, shouting Woo Pig Sooie and shaking our arms with the best of them.
Regrettably, we did not win the game with Auburn this time - 38-23 but we had the best time!!! Oh yeah, and then it was time to try to find where we left the car......
