August 15 - September 8, 2021
We got home from our amazing road trip on August 14 and found that summer had finally found us in Bentonville, Arkansas!
We spent a week unpacking, sleeping, doing laundry and sleeping and feeling blessed we have air conditioning. Every day was about 100 with humidity around 100, still as could be and no rain at all!+
JJ packed up and flew over to LA for his 10 year reunion and got some interesting pix on the way home of Balboa Island, Canyon Lakes and Salton Sea from the plane.
We try to take morning walks before it gets too hot and a drive in the evening to get out for an ice cream cone or at least to get more and more familiar with the area.
We will definitely get back to frequent day trips when the weather is more tolerable - meanwhile we are getting doctor appointments, household chores and other life necessities under control. Joe goes to the gym 3 days a week and JJ is studying for his Arkansas Real Estate test and I have finished NetFlix. Yep!
