We met sister, Kathi Erin in Fort Smith for this adventure. It was bring a can of food for the food bank and $1.00 for admission so how great is that?
Well, first of all they don't have a parking lot because the fair is in the parking lot - LOL - It was not at all what we expected but we had a blast and saw and did some things for the very first time. Rocket man Valencia was shot out of a cannon - yep! And.....there were piggy and Wiener dog races - hello? I only regret I didn't take any still shots of the races - but the videos are (trust me) a hoot!
Also we ate giant corn dogs and strawberry shortcake funnel cakes - so of course it was an amazing day. It was very hot and besides the special events the animals and craft barn didn't take very long to explore. I was starting to have a reaction to a bite on my back and Erin had a 2 hour drive and a deal to close so we were back home mid afternoon. Glad we went - but wanting more animals!!!!
