Well, after spending most of our lives in California where the weather is pretty much 75 degrees every single day and the chance of rain is advertised on the News as a STORM WATCH and then moving to Oregon where it pretty much is raining or not raining - Arkansas DELIVERS weather with a capital W!
In the past two months we have experienced very hot/humid temperatures and very cool and almost dry temperatures. We have enjoyed lightening, thunder, high winds and torrential downpours - oh and hail on numerous occasions. We have actually enjoyed some sort of weather event every day since we arrived and we are loving it!!!
We were concerned that our new home have air conditioning and we were assured 'they all have that' cause you do need it!
We were concerned that the front and back yard do not have sprinkler systems and we were assured 'you don't need that' and they were right - you don't need it! The entire state is green - until it isn't and then you wait for Spring!
We were assured that there really aren't many tornadoes in this area - and we sure hope that is also true!
